Abigail has over a decade of fine gardening experience managing public and private gardens with educational centers, high end design build firms. and her own gardening practice. With that experience, she has seen the effects of sustainable and resource intensive landscape practices on the environment, and is working to change garden practices to be sensitive to the ecological systems that help plants thrive. After attaining her masters degree in landscape architecture from Morgan State University, she has worked on landscape design projects with an emphasis on dense and diverse planting design. Her practice focuses on classical design structure that adapts to functional native plant communities, which bring people closer to appreciate the wild landscapes in their local region, and wildlife that come with them.
